Manila -- The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) has announced the scheduled conduct of the 2015 LET (Licensure Examination for Teachers) Examinations. 

Deadline in the filing of applications for FIRST TIMERS is January 30, 2015, while for REPEATERS is January 23,2015. 

The Date of examination is March 29, 2015 in all the designated testing centers nationwide.

The following are the documentary requirements for the examinees to qualify in taking the LET examinations: 

(1) Original and photocopies of Transcript of Records with Special Order and Date of Graduation, with scanned pictures and with remarks "FOR BOARD EXAMINATION PURPOSES ONLY". Graduates of government schools and institutions program accredited by recognized accrediting agencies under the FAAP are exempted from Special Order (SO). Graduates of new School Degree Programs must submit School Recognition and/or Permit to Operate. 

(2) Original photocopy of NSO-issued Birth Certificate (if NSO copy is not clear, bring copy from the Local Civil Registrar).

(3) For married females, original and photocopies of NSO-issued Marriage Contract (if NSO copy is not clear, bring copy from Local Civil Registrar). 

(4) Two (2) passport-size colored pictures with white background and complete name tag, and 

(5) Current Community Tax Certificate (Cedula).

IN ADDITION, to avoid further problem to take the 2015 LET examinations, PRC requires Schools, Colleges and Universities to submit a Certified and Notarized List of Graduates pursuant to Commission Resolution No.2008-475.

The list noted by the President/Chairman of the Board of the Academic Institutions should indicate whether the necessary Transcript of Records had been issued to the graduates/degree holders and must be submitted within fifteen (15) days from the date of conferment. 

PRC said, “The need to revive and enforce the policy is to ensure that all examinees taking the licensure examinations have been conferred with the required academic degrees by their academic institutions from which they represent to have finished their courses or obtained their degree...”
